If there are indeed people behind this, I'd say that the little detail that they let it rain friggin' bone shards, and not pretty flowers or something, may be a clue regarding their dangerousness...
(Also: Felicia, take the hint and buy that book from him! It's a book store after all, not a public library! It's how this man is earning his money!)

I know, right? Nice people would rain down flowers, or rainbows, or kittens or something (okay, maybe not kittens...)
She's going to buy the book. She'll be buying a nicely bound copy of something you can find on the internet for free (because it's in the public domain), but that doesn't bother her. Because books are cool. :)
