This is an excellent setup for some serious absurdist stuff. If you want to do some seriously easy hack-work with this setup that'll have people going, "Oooh!" and "Ahhh!" at your work I recommend searching through the script of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead for a few scenes to just outright steal. Going on from there into something more deep might be worth the effort for building up a buffer of strips to just drop in the pipeline when your schedule slips or you have trouble finishing the normal strips for some other reason.

First of all, WELCOME! We're happy to have you aboard! Glad you like the characters!
Second: I love that song and that band. "To Them These Streets Belong" is a huge influence on parts of the story (especially the Unwanted). It's interesting to apply "Savior" to Ghoul, but I can definitely see it. I'm adding it to the playlist for the comic. :)

I have read and re-read Let It Ride, so there is likely some influence there. Also, Pulp Fiction and the Blues Brothers, among others...
