I would like to clarify. Stephen is NOT stupid, nor is he really unobservant. The... being... behind him is really good at not being seen when they want to.

I will admit that, whether I want them to or not, when it comes to Nesariel there will probably be a lot of inspiration showing through.

Also, the idea that he might have a friend in those realms has come up previously...
