Here's the thing: Falchionne's advice in the first panel is probably wise advice for anything you read on the internet. Take it with a grain of sodium. Or, you know, take it and use it in your fiction... :P

Now, to get this out of the way, there are already several things named Project Indigo. This is not one of those things. It's hiding amidst those things.

This page is another experiment in composition, as well as a slight homage in one instance.

Yes, but this one didn't start with a quest for an ancient and dangerous legendary artifact. It was simply "we found a site, let's dig". :P

@Prof: what are they, cats?

You'd think that there would be artifacts--similar to divining rods--that would be useful in locating random ancient ruins. Hmmm, that would be a pretty cool Minecraft mod.

The people doing the digging did not, at that time, have access to such artifacts. They sort of... happened upon it.

The pieces are there to figure out who it was. :)

The lead archaeologist was inspired by a movie they saw....

I'm inspired to vote by reading AB. If you agree, click HERE, and help out. ^^

Actually, to be precise, the event pictured, which, to us, is an homage to a certain movie about an archaeologist, actually took place in the world of Autumn Bay slightly before the movie released (by about a year).

And yes, there is no telling what you'll dig up if you vote. :D

Ah, uncovering "somethings" in old dig sites is one of my favorite things. Sweet.;)

I have, since the early 1980s, had a fondness for archaeology. Yes, Dr. Henry Jones, Jr. is to blame... :)
