Meet Mercy Black, investigator for the Shadowlight League.

There may be a few familiar faces in the crowds here...

Also, we have seen someone in "federal black" before. They tend to pop up here and there. But what do they want?

Now, this is the part where I usually ask for votes on Top Web comics and promise a glimpse of the future. That's still in effect. I was happy to catch the, like, ten seconds he had that thing on (which I'm sure had to be done with a bit of magic trickery) before he tore the dern thing apart.

Luckily, it wasn't a "cute" sweater contest or something. I can do ugly all day long.

When it comes to the covers to the various parts/chapters, we don't want to make them a full update, so I put them up a few hours before the next page. So when those go up, look for the next page at the normal time.

And yeah, I know, I know. I don't do that thing at shows IRL (I wore Social Distortion to the Dropkick Murphys and Iron Maiden to Dax Riggs, for example). But my CF icon has that shirt on, so I went with it.
