The dressing down continues.

With the exception of the Harper situation (which also yielded intel, in a roundabout way), each failure to locate and capture Chaos has been one step closer to a success. The only problem lies in the price the team has paid.

Suffice to say, it will take more than this transformation to break Bishop.

At the very least, Bishop still has his (her?) fighting spirit, defending the team's actions instead of simply accepting Shelby's criticisms without comment!

Bishop's will is made of iron. :)

Prof, I can't count the number of times I've heard this sort of "Imma get it done sir" stuff, despite ample evidence of not getting it done. At the end of the day results matter and Bishop has certainly had a shitty run of poor results.

I'm sure there are plenty who would disagree, but Shelby wouldn't be wrong if he relieved him/her (contingent on who else is available to lead the team).

We will, as you well know (from seeing things in advance via Patrreon) see Shelby's take on this situation very soon.

It is not a 100% certainty that Bish is leading the team by the end of this season.

If the team is willing to follow Bishop's orders, respect him, and accept him, then removing him would be pure (if a little weird) sexism--possibly ageism, to boot.

So what if he can't bench press twice his weight any more, his mind and his experience haven't changed, and that was his true value.

You are not wrong, Delta. These issues are some of the ones we will be exploring in various ways going forward.

Suffice to say, it's definitely not a normal situation.

And even if he hadn't been transformed, Shelby would have words for him. Whether those words would have been as harsh remains up for debate...

"Mind is a plaything of the body" issues aside, yes, definitely

There is always that angle, too...

There are a lot of things to explore here, to be sure.

Listen to Bishop, dangit! He's got this. And heck he has way more reason to do a good job, now, if anything.D:

We shall see Shelby's response, but you are right. Bishop's butt is now officially on the line, and their not giving up.
