Have you ever talked to someone who's spouting the craziest stuff you ever heard, and your every rational thought says "ignore this", but some part of you just "knows" that there is some deep truth buried in there, so you need to pay attention, and then later you figure out what the person actually meant and you realize they just handed you the keys to life, the universe, and everything?
It used to happen to me all the time, working customer service related jobs on the heart of the Midwestern United States. Late at night, you hear some serious Truths.
That's where this came from. (Sorry about the novel here.)

Congrats on getting through part one. Looking forward to reading more. I also wanted to mention that I really love your "related comics" section in the author comments. I read so many comics that it's nice to be able to look back if you don't remember a detail.

Heh. I know that I sometimes get a little subtle about things, and that there's a lot going on, and people have actual lives and such. It's basically my version of "previously on" that you see on a lot of tv shows. Just a little reminder of just what the heck we're talking about here. :)

I know it may be obvious after seeing various people use it, but this is just kind of a combination confirmation of the fact / capstone to the part.
Also, I know it was a short-ish part (the next one is longer - one of the benefits of not being beholden to a print schedule is that I don't have to adhere to 20-22 pages per "issue" or what have you.

I WILL tell you that it was one of my 30 Days of Characters people...
This is the end of Part One of Season One. We'll pick up on Monday with Part Two (but look for a teaser image a few hours ahead of time).
