Sadly, the ding-a-ling only requires one hand (and not even that, really - contact is enough, as far as the physical portion is concerned).
The effect portion actually comes pretty easily to me. Among my influences, art-wise, is the King of Comics, Jack Kirby. From him, I learned 1) done is better than perfect and (more importantly to this discussion) how to "see" power (and thus portray it).

He may need to walk it off. I mean, does he risk going to the hospital for that wound? His grasp on the power he has tapped seems a little shaky just now, so fixing that way might be out of the question.
And yes, he is a prick. He and Wendell should star in a buddy comedy thing.

I guess Chaos didn't break all of Johnson's toys (and Johnson's not quite out for the count...)
Things aren't looking so good for the bad guy here.
Shot in the shoulder, his forcefield cracking... it's pretty much all over but the shouting, right?
