In the blood and in the name, eh? So what powerful entity do you know of named Morningstar?

There's a lot here that, I promise you, will be unpacked going forward. For now, though, we have to deal with Chaos.

In fact, I can even think of two possibilities to what entity "Morningstar" may refer to...
(One of them, which seems to be the less likely possibility in this case anyway, requires a little detour through astronomy though.)

You are right. The second one you are likely thinking of would be... less difficult, but not impossible. And Astronomy is always welcome in Autumn Bay...

Edit: that song is figures fairly heavily into the musical DNA of Autumn Bay.

Stepping aside from the part where Chaos is pulling the wings off flies, is this guy a relative?

Why yes, yes he is.

It's a distant relationship, but Kadira's branch of the family was the one that stayed in Great Brittain while Brian's branch emigrated to the new world.

Quite possibly one of the beings that is commonly called that... :)

There are two entities alluded to in the same reference book concerning the concept of "Morning Star"--either of which might be a bad idea for Chaos to cross.....

And shall I say it? Yes, yes I shall. Two thumbs up for the effects. ^^

Thank you once again for the kind words re: effects. :)

To be fair, Kadira is "only" a descendant of the entity in question. One wonders about the wisdom of empowering your enemies, even if they can't (currently) handle said power...

Louie Cypher?
Hey-Zeus?

Is Kadiera a Vorlon?

Sam-ael?
B. L. Z. Bub?
Jay-hova?

Taking into account one of the beings Vorlon may have inspired, there is no theoretical bias against Kadira being a Vorlon... if Vorlons exist in Autumn Bay.

And welcome back to the comment section, sig! :D

"Mortal form cannot contain the infinite", it's true in many cultures and religions actually. So, yep, agreed if we can consider that.

We humans are limited creatures. There is only so much a body can withstand, and the infinite emanations of creation are not one of them.

There are a lot of cultures, religions, philosophies, traditions, and works of fiction we are drawing on, and there is a definite set of rules concerning the supernatural and magic in this story.

Really, though, Chaos is "just playing" with them. lirvilas's comment about "pulling the wings off of flies" is very appropriate. He means to break them...

Quantum theory is almost there to give us a taste of it :)

Quantum theory, as well as various other sciences (even some dodgy, outdated, and debunked ones that are great for storytelling in a mystical sense) are all fair game. :)
