You know, it's a good thing I already know what you're talking about with Crowley, Dee and Ozzy, otherwise I'd be wiki-wandering through that shit for days. :-P

Aleister Crowley was notable for two things.
1. He self cured himself of Heroin addiction.
2. He was instrumental in the spread of the American Catholic Church. As opposed to the Roman Catholic Church in America.

He was also kicked out of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn for being too sex-obsessed...

That only counts if you feel the Golden Dawn really means something. Almost all of us that are Family Trad. Really have little if any use for its members, or for Crowley.

It could be worse. I could be handing out obscure references and NOT providing information...

Like, for instance, referencing Russian authors or something...

I definitely remember that Ozzy song (but probably not much of the lyrics), but I guess I never really knew that he was a wizard.

I knew the song before I really started getting into studying mystical and occult things. Then, when I DID start looking into it, mind: blown!

You know, I thought the whole point of the interweb was to for like-minded individuals to gather together and make really obscure Lovecraftian references . . . or something. God knows I rarely know what people are talking about on the net.
Doesn't stop me from 'weighing' in though.
@Lirvilas Did you see what I did there? Heeheeheehee!

Haha reading the wikipedia articles it occurs to me I'm far more familiar with many fictionalized versions of historical figures than the real ones (gotta do better indexing on the brain...)...

Still, that sets a pretty high bar for intrigue and ancient conspiracy of where we are headed if we are hitting Crowley level already... :P

Ever since watching The Goonies and Scooby-Doo growing up, I have always thought it would be cool to do this kind of thing. Then I found out that urban exploration is a real thing, and filed it away for later use. "Later use" came with this run of Autumn Bay!
