The organization known colloquially as "The Shroud" has a bit of a repuation among the magical community. It's not undeserved.

So Harper's looking to get outside of the effective range of the anchor & teleport away.

That would appear to steer him in a particular direction if he saw the anchor light off.

First and foremost is "get away"...

I will say this: the team has their work cut out for them...

I want to know about Shroud Gitmo. Is it truly horrible, or does it simply have a horrible reputation? Perhaps no one comes back because it's so much fun!

Well, let's put it this way. If I owned Shroud Gitmo and Hell, I would sell Shroud Gitmo and live in Hell.

I'm kidding, of course. It's mostly just a black site where wizards and sorcerers who prove themselves to be serious threats are kept and rehabilitated.

So far I'm on Harper's side. As far as I've seen, there has been not one tiny shred of evidence that the Shroud is worthy of trust. Quite the opposite, in fact. :)

Hmm... Well, we shall have to see if they can earn that trust.

(I suspected some people would sympathize with Harper...)

Well, I can't very well consider privileged material in my analysis, now can I. ;)

I like the "potato"/"one smart spud" line. At least, it made me chuckle.
