Well that depends on exactly what you mean by careful. For instance, aiming carefully with the lightning bolt spell or rocket launcher is a certain kind of careful... while not strictly conforming to every accepted meaning of careful. I suspect if you aren't too picky about what exact meaning(s) of careful you're looking for that Mercy does intend to be careful, and probably will be. :)
To misquote an old comedy routine:
"You're the most irresponsible person I've ever known. I don't think you're capable of doing anything responsibly, not one thing."
"I'm doing something responsible right now, I tell you."
"I don't believe it. What is this alleged responsible thing you're doing?"
"I am currently wearing a condom. Should I whip it out right here and prove it?"

What do you suppose the odds are that Mercy is actually going to be careful?
